Become a Director of the Board of the Grand Bend Area Community Health Centre
The Grand Bend Area Community Health Centre (GBACHC) is a non-profit, community-governed organization that provides comprehensive primary health care for enrolled clients. Our health promotion strategies utilize multidisciplinary teams of health providers and are available to clients, as well as, everyone in the community.
The GBACHC’s two sites work in collaboration with the Southwest and Erie-St. Clair Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs) along with various agencies and services within the counties of Lambton and Huron. Our ongoing partnerships with the South Huron Hospital Association and Bluewater Health enable us to seek out and provide the best care for our clients/patients, along with programming for the surrounding communities.
The GBACHC Board of Directors is seeking new members with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Governance, Organizational Development, IT/Data Systems, Facilities, Social Services, Accounting, Legal, Social Marketing/ Media, and Volunteerism. Additionally, the Board is seeking representation from the following areas: Port Franks, Hensall, Dashwood and Zurich.
