Helping you through difficult times in a safe and supportive environment.

One in five Canadians will experience a mental illness in their lifetimes, and everyone will know someone who has struggled with their mental health.

Whether it is a stressful workplace, a difficult relationship or a personal health issue, the GBACHC social work team is committed to providing the community with patient-centred mental health services to help people navigate through these challenges.

Social Work Program

The social work program at GBACHC provides 45-minute counselling sessions for individuals, couples, and families seeking a positive mental health outlook.

The Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) may be recommended to provide additional professional expertise using an online private video session.

Clients are asked to use their Employee Assistance Program services through their employer before receiving counselling services at the GBACHC.

The social work program also works with the CMHA Huron Perth Addiction and Mental Health Services to provide addiction counselling and the best mental health care possible.
