Feeling overwhelmed? The BounceBack program can help

The latest provincial and national surveys have shown that the pandemic’s strain on the mental health of Ontarians has reached all-time highs. The rates of stress, anxiety, and depression in the province are worse than ever.

For those struggling and looking for support, the BounceBack program is an effective option to deal with worry or stress. Although that stress may stem from the COVID-19 pandemic, the program is open to anyone that feels BounceBack could benefit their daily life.

BounceBack is a free, guided self-help program for people aged 15+. Participants receive telephone coaching, skill-building workbooks, and online videos to help them overcome symptoms and gain new skills to regain positive mental health. BounceBack is not a crisis service, psychotherapy, or counselling. It’s a life-skills program that participants work with to develop coping techniques so they can overcome challenges, now and in the future.

The program is run by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) and funded by the Ontario Government.
